Alles in Allem/ Reise im Raum
Anlässlich des Ausstellung „Alles in Allem/Reise im Raum“ im BASEMENT, Atelierfrankfurt im November 2024, beschäftigen sich die Künstlerinnen DeDe Handon und Eva Weingärtner mit der Gaia Hypothese, die von unserem Planeten als einem lebendigen Organismus ausgeht. Das Video zeigt einen Rundgang durch die Ausstellung, in der sowohl einzelne eigene Erzählstränge, als auch Dialog zwischen den Arbeiten Platz finden. Das Kernstück der Ausstellung „Goldkammer“ ist eine gemeinsame Arbeit beider Künstlerinnen, bei der, in der Sprache des Morsealphabeths, der Satz „Are you ready to transform?“ als Atemsequenz zu hören ist.

On the occasion of the exhibition „Alles in Allem/Reise im Raum“ in BASEMENT, Atelierfrankfurt in November 2024, the artists DeDe Handon and Eva Weingärtner are dealing with the Gaia hypohesis, which assumes that our planet is a living organism. The video shows a tour of the exhibition, in which there is space for both indidvidual narrative strands and dialogue between the works. The centerpiece oft the exhibition „Goldkammer“ is a joint work by both artists, in which, in the language of the Morse alpabeth, the sentence „Are you ready to transform?“ can be heard as a breathing sequence.
